About Us

I grew up right here in Lancaster as the youngest child in a large family. From an early age, members of my family, as well as neighbors and friends, came to me to make their special occasions “extra” special and fun. It didn’t take me long to realize that what I did best – and loved to do – was create the perfect settings for those parties, special events, weddings, and receptions.
Over the past decade, I have expanded and enhanced my knowledge and experience. I stay on “top of my game” by taking continuing education courses, attending seminars, and regularly interacting with coordinators from around the world via the Internet. In addition, I have the latest event planning and design software packages. I know how to identify upcoming trends, as well as how to work well with the current looks, styles and fashion. Likewise, I have developed warm and lasting relationships with my clients and vendors. My heart is in this profession, and I’m here for the long haul!
One thing I did notice several years ago was a definite shortage of great event venues in the Lancaster and York area. After many discussions and much searching, my very supportive husband Tony and I decided to buy and renovate an old warehouse in the historic district of Columbia. I knew this would be the perfect setting for this growing business.
With a definite vision in mind, Tony and I capitalized on our combined skills and resources to totally restore the multistoried building. Not only did we create an impressive reception and event site on the ground level, but we also designed and constructed a warm and inviting home on the upper floor. This historical “rejuvenation” project has been featured on various local and regional home and architectural tours and showcased in Susquehanna Style Magazine.
